Why should I use Cooper Group Staffing instead of filling the position on my own?

When you provide us with a temporary or temp-to-hire employee, who is the actual employer?
Cooper Group Staffing is the employer of record. We are responsible for all employer costs, including state and federal taxes, Social Security, state and federal unemployment, and workers’ compensation.
How are your candidates evaluated and screened?
Our applicants go through an extensive application process that includes a phone interview, skills testing, and face-to-face interviews to ensure they meet our hiring criteria. We also verify past employment and references. We can also conduct drug testing and background checks, depending on your needs.
Is there an obligation to hire an employee on a temp-to-hire job assignment?
No. The benefit of using temp-to-hire is that it gives both you and the employee the opportunity to see if there is a good fit between the two before making a job offer.
What if an employee that is sent to our company does not meet our standards? Do you offer a guarantee?
At Cooper Group Staffing, we take extensive measures to check-in with our clients and follow up on the employees we have placed. If, at any time, there is a problem with an employee, we ask that you call us immediately and we will work to rectify the situation.
For temporary and temp-to-hire positions, if you are not satisfied with an employee, simply notify us within the first four hours and we will replace that individual free of charge. In addition, we offer a 90-day guarantee for direct hires.
