At Cooper Group Staffing, we will work one-on-one with you to learn about your background, skills and interests. We can then match you with a position that’s a terrific fit for you. In addition, we recruit for many companies throughout the Jefferson County, Orange County and Harden County areas who do not advertise their job openings. As a result, we can give you more access to better jobs.

Will I be charged a fee to use your service?

No, we never charge a fee to candidates.

What kind of jobs do you fill?

We fill a variety of temporary, temp-to-hire, direct hire, and executive-level positions in Administrative/Office, Accounting/Finance, Medical/Legal Support, Construction, Operations, Purchasing, Technical, and IT.

What does temp-to-hire mean?

Temp-to-hire means you are working as a Cooper Group Staffing employee at a client site, with the possibility of being hired full-time by the client after a predetermined time frame. If your assignment converts to a full-time hire, you will become an employee of the company where you are working.

What kinds of companies do you work with?

We work with most companies throughout the Golden Triangle, including Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange. It might be Oil or Petro Chemical, business or professional office, hospitals, construction or a variety of other businesses.

What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered; is it alright to turn it down?

We realize that not every job is going to meet your expectations. If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.

How many times should I check-in regarding my availability for work?

Depending on the position you’re seeking, your recruiter will let you know when to check in. As a general policy for temping, we ask that you give us an update weekly on your availability.
